Free design for amateur boatbuilders

kEEL,KEEL,KEEL

I searched in vein for info on keel PLACEMENT and design.
How do I calculate/determine exactly where to place the keel?

Thanks

'Pilgrim 590' does not have any keel...

classmicro

Alik ,
do you have some glide of boat of the microclass?
Do you have the grp plan single skin with resin of polyester of the 630?
Here in Brazil it is not so easy to find materials for sandwich, as well as epoxy.
I think a lot about doing a long adventure in a very small boat for every Brazilian coast, up to now the boat that more it interested was me that of the picture, but I preferred a monohull, a 550 with bulb kell, something as a smaller minitransat.

Thanks to Alik, you can now download the DWG/DXF loft drawing and English specs from http://www.boatdesign.net/NYD/

Hi Alik, hi Jeff,
it would be great, if you can place the Pilgrim 590/Kavalier80 "Downloadable Drawings and Specifications" with the 3D thumbnail and a link towards Alik web site also under 3D CAD Blocks and Drawing Files. Please upload the .zip files.

Hi!
My name is Rafael and I'm from brazil. I'm planning to build a pilgrim 590, but a have a doubt. How do I make de lamination with the fiber glass? How many layer of mat or coth do I have to use?
thanks
Rafael

The picture you showed, ricardo, what kind of boat is it (I know it's a catamaran) but is it kit or what? Do you have a website for it?
