Hello,

I am badly in need a reference to study about Wigley hull. Can you suggest me any books for it?
 
What information do you need? Or do you need a book to list as a reference?

I am asking about the second one.
 
The Wigley hull was used to study the effect of hull shape on wave making. The original "Wigley" hull was just a square cornered wedge leading (on one model this was 5.81 ft long), a PMB section (4.38 ft long by 1.5 ft beam), and a similar wedge trailing (total 16 ft L x 1.5 ft B and 1 ft T) so as to generate distinct breast and quarter waves. The second "Wigley" hull mentioned in the formula was used to ease the generation of dipole bodies (i.e. sources and sinks) by Wigley and Havelock. Remember this was in the 1930's through to the 1950's so all the "calculated" profiles were done by hand.
