Route du Rhum

The teaser video, with a remind of all the previous winners :

Unfortunately, there is a sign on the video that says: " For rights reasons, this video is not available from your location. Next video available on 10/29/18 at 13:25 ."
Ah too bad, it is a good video with spectacular sequences by rough seas, telling each races since 1978 and hence the progress of the multihulls, in case of the replay is already available but I am afraid you will face the same refusal :

Excerpt:
If the forecast confirms this pattern with the establishment of a skyline behind the passage of the two depressions, it will be very hot for small boats down to Madeira. The associated grains in the Northwest could generate winds of over 50 knots and strong seas.

In short! Nothing is done.
For sailors caught in the vice malouin, it's not easy. Already under the pressure of the grandiose event, concentrated in their preparation and stressed by the deadline, here they are in a very unwelcome uncertainty to 4 days of departure.
But as everyone has been able to check these past few days by going directly from t-shirt to hooded coat ... one thing is certain: we are changing seasons!
Courage.

To test your access to the live of this channel, BFM TV , which will propose a 3 hours special live on the race start, from 12h to 15h next Sunday, the start hour being at 14h (2 p.m.) French hour. I use to see this channel when abroad (in Europe) without any need of rights. Just that the advertisement periods are replaced by a BFM teaser in a loop, usually during the 5 mn before each hour and half hour.
