Anyone know where to find / what brand or the general material details for the Polyurethane/PTFE membrain material commonly associated with the VAP process?
This to help degas laminate throught the part while it's being infused.
Similar to the MTI hose but in flat sheet/roll
Would like to create some low void parts

I have no clue about this technology but this sound like you can only get it from one place:

VAP® - Dealing with porosity https://www.vap-info.com/en/dealing.html

> Trans-Textil GmbH is the exclusive manufacturer of licensed VAP® membrane products as well as the general licensee and technology partner of the patent owner Airbus.

Also this tranquil nugget of polite legalese: https://www.vap-info.com/en/download/PatentInfringementAIRBUS20170331_ENG.pdf

So might as well call them. I don't think you'll find a discount supplier before 2021-03-13 when the patent expires.

Is this removal of volatiles even important for epoxy infusion?

They have a patent on a process but not the material used in the process.. these membranes are used for many things. I'll have to just buy a few samples and try them

I've only looked into the patent briefly but my guess is they don't mention what it actually is.

Now that you mention it, I think I read somewhere about a description of a vacuum film that is "not entirely sealed for deep vacuum". I think it was on the r-g.de shop but I can't find it now. Maybe look for something not entirely diffusion resistant.

So just to learn, for what use case do you need this?
