Alexanov, I see you do not know some of the softwares you're talking about, as they "can be used from design to production"
Foran,Nupas-Cadmatic, Aveva all systems was designed from beginning as ship design and production. I know what I am talking about. 10 years experience in Foran and 15 yars in Nupas.

Well, that is to have experience, but not much. Continue working.
I do not speak of Foran, etc, but of a list of programs that you said were not going from design to production and I say that this view is not correct.
Some of them indeed are not native to naval architecture but are CAD-CAM programs that have been adapted to shipbuilding.

Foran Spanish ship design and production system with more than 40 years of history. Nupas-Cadmatic - Dutch/Finish Aveva - former Tribon - Swedish system. All of them was developed as ship design system from beginning.

Yes. originally I am from Russia, but live in Norway many years.

Which Software is able to make general arrangement plans?

Sevaral companies in Norway try to make GA in NX Siemens. Not sure how good is it. It is possible to make 3D model with all equipment, calculate weights and generate GA drawings from this model.

That would make sense. It would save a lot of work, to use all the details of a GA plan for further needs, like weight calculation and so on...
I can´t afford Siemens NX for only occasional need, so i will have to go on with Solid Works... Thanks for replies!

Spoke with my friend today about Siemens NX. His company try o adjst NX for Ship design. Several full time programmers work about one year with programming necessary macroses. So may be it will be little bit easy with Solid Works, if you know it well.
