Japanese liftable propellor shaft.

    I'm often look in on the MBM forum in the UK, and I've often read horror stories of Merc and Volvo outdrives self destructing.


    To me the question would be how much power is required.

    IO do fine with 100-200hp , most of the prop lifting stuff seems more suited to 5-15hp .

    How much power do you wish to put in the water?

    I am aiming at two small lightweight diesels on the order of 15 hp each...as in Kubota D772
