I am working in a 28' fast and open powerboat.
What do you recommend, an inboard diesel engine or two outboard engines for this boat? why ? I am about to chose for the second option because it will take less space and will allow me to get better accomodations...

What do you guys think ? ... and why ?

Thanks for your help !

Fast= outboards. Economical= diesel. The price of new twin outboards and a new diesel engine are about the same. Personally I'd go for a diesel stern drive and get the best of both.

i think you should get an outboard engine cause sounds alot better

What was the hull designed to have installed as propulsion? Is it not better to have the correct propulsion for the hull design.Random choice of propulsion will not prove the best.Perhaps the designer can make a recommendation.
