How to buy boat that is due to marina and marina start be owner?

Why you mean this? As I understand man was put hull there and it stay years there.. they just calculate all fees in past and any other as not payed

They are main marina in city.. dont believe they will go screw own reputation, because one bare hull that stay there years

I mean exactly that. Marina's are not on the top of the pile on behavior.
Running 30K on marina's hard and disappear? Not to be seen by the police? Not been suing? just waiting? Something is wrong. Ask for their books before you have a hot boat in your possession.
You have countless of very good people, good brokerage firms who sell clean boat, use them.

Yes, I am just think about that.. but I am little tired of think of other peoples issues in my life too. They are adults and know own life and legal responsibilities. I am not his manager and not receive their salary to check his documentation. If they issue me legal invoice and I buy the hull there. I am legal buyer. His own issues are his problem at end.. IF they have it

If it is an unfinished project, you are not buying a boat but materials. Check with a lawyer if that is a possibility. The marine will give you a bill of sale for steel. When boats are sold for scrap it is similar.

Ok, now that I understand that it is not actually a boat yet and that the marina may be a govt operated facility and not solely private or corporate, my thoughts change a bit.

I would contact a broker and contact for the following services-

1. Acquisition of whatever it is that is being acquired.
2. Import to country of your choosing.
3. Completion to the point it can be registered as a boat.
4. Delivery of registable boat to you.

It is doubtful you can do any of these cheaper than the broker can.

If nobody seems interested in doing this, that should be taken to heart. A government operated (or overseen) marina is probably not going to be of any help.

yes, its bare hull.. unfinished project, but is pretty good if I can have model of boat on invoice. Latter by one day maybe sale etc. as this is fiberglass hull from known yacht model

RE: hm dont know are they so 'state' owned, but biggest in city.. will check this too. good idea.. more close to state is more secure in law thinking

I am in the US.
In these parts a constant stream of boats are disposed of by the large marinas.
They are abandoned by clients after years of storage or impounded vessels.
Clear title is provided by the marina and the vessels sold off or destroyed.
There is nothing untoward about the marinas approach- the storage space has to be cleared to make way for paying clients.

In the US, to dispose of the vessel the marina is a de facto owner and has the ability to arrange title to reflect this fact.
I would not take possession without title being provided by the marina.

RE: I believe similar is in the EU.. in France as you can see above lawyer say that must be auction arranged and this is way how legally in EU marina sells

but this "my case" is they have hull only... (interested for me as is bigger hull) and they say this is not 'vessel'. They say will give invoice only in that case. I am still work on case, probably will find directly alone more.. but is great here share informations
