There is a curiosity aspect to a history, but other than that the information isn't worth much.
Build methods are somewhat generic and randomly change with no documentation, and rarely did any exist to begin with. Most of the pieces that make up the boat are from aftermarket supply houses, and motor/outdrive manufacturers.
Rebuilding the transom or stringers, fixing wiring, steering, lights, etc, are all almost the same on every boat built during that decade.
The advertising literature is scarce and doesn't really tell you anything, and any manual or information supplied to the original buyer was just what the individual manufacturer of each component supplied with there widget. None of it tells you anything about the boat it is mounted on.
