What are the dimensions with a flat bottom for 250KG? If you don't know you don't have a clue if planing is in the cards at all.

I had dimensions for a deep v with chines, not sure yet about the dimensions for the rounder bottom

This "project" is going nowhere, because you have not specified what you want, you say it is a race boat, but have not given the rules that govern the boats competing in the race. If they are open other than the 2x2x2.5 metres, I recommend an Acme Rocket Propelled Boat, as would be used by Wile E Coyote if there was any water out there in the desert.

You can't just have dimensions for a deep V - unless you know that will handle 250KG.

When you are designing a boat, YOU have to figure out if it works.

So far Wile E Coyote seems to be as good of a bet as anything.

I drew an autocad model and double checked with simple physics to see if it will stay up with that weight. .

Carbon aramid + light and heavy glass layers.

I built an 11' catamaran rowboat with a sliding rigger for 50# out of strip cedar and glass.
If you feel you have to use Carbon/ Aramid why would you want 2 different kinds of glass or even one kind?
To use carbon effectively (minimum weight) you really need to know how to design a laminate, or you are going to waste your money.

How long are you going to use this boat? One race?

Wood and glass could probably get you a 70# hull and cross beams if you do it well (no big pools of epoxy and thin glass laminates).
I'd suggest 1/4" strips of cedar and 4-6oz glass cloth inside and out. The cross beam might be smaller since you will not be sitting on it.

We have seen others do this. Seems like they don't really want any "help", they just want to see how many responses they can get. Sort of a weird personal best thing.
