    Frankly, it seems to me that a member who tells us, "I am in need of a complete project for an aluminum powerboat...." has no better place to post his thread than in the "Design>>Powerboats" section. What do you think?.

    Yes, this is the place to:
    Just wanted to reiterate that when other members take their time to reply, sharing their own experience and knowledge, then a little latitude is appreciated. Like most things in life it's a balance. In the first post the OP said
    so if the desire is less discussion and more "exact match only" then either the marketplace or services forum would be more transactional. I don't think there is a problem with where this thread is posted, but I just wanted to provide an option.

    Thank you for your explanations. I had already read your post #15, which is why I thought my post #16 was pertinent. After this, your last post #17, I reaffirm my previous comment. I remain convinced that this is the right place for this post and that the OP was right in choosing this section. I don't think the same people, in another section, can give different answers. If the answers are disrespectful in this section, or don't answer the question, they won't be respectful or answer the question in any other section either.
    Thank you for your time.

    BB and Moderator, you may be right, but I don't see how the same person can give different answers to the same question depending on the section in which the thread is posted.

    I think the "why" is important to visualize the purpose of a boat.

    @TopliCar

    Any luck finding the plans you seek?
    If so, would you share at least the study plans with us?

    Thanks
