First of all thank you sir for responding to my query.I am learning this software from a institution in India. But I want to explore more about this software. I have searched the internet,but couldn't find anything. I hope that you will enlighten me in this issue.

Hello everyone,

Im a student from Singapore using Aveva for my project.

I have encountered a problem and need some help.

1) I have a basis ship given by my school and i added some plate with thickness at the bottom of the keel by using the UNITE icon to merge the plate to the ship itself, after which i release calculation geometry and opened up the hydrostatic calculation and to check my resistance result(under powering calculation) but there wasnt any changes in the result. I have also checked that there wasnt any change in the wetted surface area when it should have. I have also done an experiment by added a large sphere merge with the ship and the result is the same.

Can any kind soul help me out with this?

Hello sir. In India there are many design office.U can choose any one. One design office that offer AVEVA is Conceptia in the south part of india.But remember they will charge u small amount of money.I am learning this software from a institution called AMET.

Thx for your reply... Is there separate training for Aveva marine in AMET or you are doing naval architect course there?

Yes there is a seperate course for AVEVA in AMET.But the teachers who taught this course left AMET a week ago. So better try in some design office.
