Error in Aveva Marine

Hello Eveeryone,
ive recently installed aveva marine in my desktop and I tried opening new drawing as said in the manual. When I selected the backing paper and clicked open, an error pops up saying "Failed to persist new drawing in the PADD database". could someone please help me out how to solve this error. I badly want to learn this software
