2 metre rc trimaran project

I've lifted the first set of test float hull sides out of the mold and they look pretty good. I might not be making a new female molds and just work with these. Main hull halve plugs are next to be constructed.

What is the lay up, they look too thin and flexible. Remember carbon is 225% stiffer for the same weight.

I've managed to get a bit done on this project lately. Looking at the 1/4 scale beams as drawn in the plan I decided to loft them out at full scale to confirm their fairness. They were not in total agreement with a fair curve in places so it shows the benefit of drawing things on paper if possible.

How to design an experimental boat 3m long ? Sponsor would have to be 3M.

I don't think it would gain much traction even 2 metre boats are pretty rare the most popular RC multihull class is the smaller Mini 40 multihull. Lugging a 3 metre model multihull around would be quite a job due to the bulk particularly if it was a square trimaran.

3m

This is my proposition experimental an proa with reefing wingsail and canting keel 3 m length for Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company "3M".
