Hello, coming from BOB and well aware of Odarvr, in thr process of refurbishing the pursuit above.
It's a father son project, we have the back deck removed and will be replacing stringers and have transom almost ready to rebuild with Coosa 26 BW and 1708 and csm for first layer prior to 1708.

Our schedule, csm, 1708, 1708, 1708, csm Coosa. Then 3 more 1708 to tie in to hillsides and gunnels.

Much tabbing as well.

Not really much need for csm at the coosa if you are laying on csm backed 1708. It offers little strength for the weight.

Thanks, the only reason for so doing csm is it will be a tight layer before the stitched csm of the 1708 is laminated.

Gosh, that is a massive re-fit project you have there!
Yet at first sight (of the photos) the 'before' photos do not show anything amiss, never mind that plywood is quietly rotting away behind that nice gelcoat.

Did you use that impressive gantry to lift the deck and cabin moulding completely off the hull?
If so, do you also have some photos of the hull interior before you started to cut out the stringers that you are replacing?

Transom first, then stringers 2 at a time to maintain hull integrity.
Cabin still attached, for now.

Short story, prior owner absolutely loved this hull, started smelling fuel really bad, decided to replace the tank, when tank pulled, port stringer came with it.
He abandoned project and my son got it for price of trailer.

Be careful with hull deformation if the stringer pulled out.

Best to support the hull flat and then repair one stringer at a time.

If you leave the boat on the trailer with the stringers out; good chance you’ll hook the hull and that is very bad for performance.

Also, verify no balsa core in hull exists or if it does; is rotten.

What is keeping the hull from deforming where the stringers were?
