Help - Rules and regulations for boat-building in Maldives

Does anyone know the regulations for new boats in the Maldives? Is certification from any classification society required? Are there any requirements are for the structure of the hull？

Has the design company asked you to be involved now, re looking up the regulations for new (commercial?) boats in the Maldives?

Or are you now involved in a totally different project?

Same project, the design company is not farmilar with the rules and regulations in Maldives. They need to be sure if there is any necessary requirements.

What size will she be?

yes a cata-ferry. about 20m long, and yes, it need to be capable of 50 knots.
