Just some examples, Alik. Aesthetics are a personal matter (I happen to find ALL of the designs in your gallery and website derivative and trying too hard to fit a lot in too small a space.
ALL our designs (we are team of 11, 4 of them having degree/diploma in arts) are real; they are being built and launched; in 2010 we have launched 12 designs from our drawing board (custom and new production models); we have developed about 20 complete designs and another 10 concept designs in 2010.
Some of our designs are workboats and special craft and probably not so elegant as 'yachty aesthetes' would expect. For some of them, aesthetics is compromise with customer's wishes, simplified construction techniques, etc. We are commercial designers and we design boats for our customers, not for pleasing internet community. Yes, most of customers now want to have as much as possible for boat's length. Once designer stops drawing boats for his dreams only and has particular SOR in front of him, he has to find compromise of appearance and functionality, and play with priorities. Besides that, our designs are published in boating magazines worldwide so there is no issue on aesthetics.
There is no point to compare 3D sketches of 85' cat (that is elegant by definition, due to its length) drawn without development of GA or even not showing steering station(s) with our workboat/charter boat designs of 32-34' (those You have posted). Why didn't You post our
90' footer pictures - it is launched and it was on front cover of yachting magazines?
There are few anonymous enviers/fiddlers who post 'vodka and yacht design do not mix' in Internet, about our designs. I don't really care about those idiots; we are busy with new designs and have a waiting list of new orders
But this is off-topic, in this thread - sorry for that; but I had to answer for those insinuations.
