    Thanks, great to follow : … with among others on board Erwan Le Roux (2nd in the Multi 50 class at the last Route du Rhum 2018, winner of the previous RdR 2014), and as onshore router J-Y Bernot who was also the one of Francois Gabard for his solo round the world record.

    A slight delay, weather related I'm guessing, they are aiming for an 8pm start on Wednesday night local time.

    In complément to the tracking with wind arrows, one can have also a view of the sea state thanks to Ventusky visualisation : white circular arcs show the wind waves, the black ones show the swell waves. On the left, you can choose 5 displays : waves significant heights, wind waves component significant heights, wind waves periods, swell waves component significant waves, swell waves periods. On the right you can set heights in m or in feet. The shifts of the white and black arcs give the respective direction of the wind waves and of the swell waves :
