    Gitana 17- Some interesting video on their facebook page. Unless they're messing with the image like they did when they first flew, it appears that the uptip ama foils(horizontal portion) are much shorter this time around. Probably a camera trick because they obviously are not going all out to show whats been done.

    Gitana 17- I sent this to Guillaume Verdier yesterday:

    Guillaume, just saw a video of 17 sailing on facebook and I caught a glimpse of a retracted ama foil. The horizontal portion seems much smaller now-is that an illusion or is it really smaller?

    And the answer today is that "..nothing is changed!". It sure looked different to me but I'm glad it still really looks like this-with that gorgeous curve to the tip.
