A fishing boat missing with all hands since 1972 has been found on the bottom off the Alabama coast...
A fishing boat that went missing not long after it was built in 1972 has been found submerged in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Alabama, officials said.

The 65-foot Katmai was discovered in December sunk in 8,900 feet of water about 200 miles off the coast, according to the Coast Guard. All onboard, including the owner's child, were presumed lost.

The short history of the ill-fated Katmai was uncovered after a research vessel with The Schmidt Ocean Institute along with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management used sonar to find an unknown object at the site in Dec. 2012. It was later determined to be the Katmai.

Built in 1972 by Bender Shipyards for Oskar Joos, the Katmai was put to sea on Feb. 18 of that year. Onboard were Joos, his wife, his 8-year-old son and a deckhand, Clinton Hollevoet. The group was bound for Anchorage, Ala.,

But the Katmai never made it to its destination and the boat was believed to have sunk, officials said. It was unclear what led to the sinking. When the boat was located, no remains of the people onboard were found.

Investigators contacted Joos' and Hollevoet's surviving family members to help them find closure for their lost loved ones.
There has to be an interesting story there, but we'll probably never know it.

More weird things are dug up (so to speak) all the time. Apparently there was a 200m pyramid found in the Bermuda Triangle under water, with others, including one under water near China ? the Bermuda one is believed to have been a portal of sorts. This may also explain boats disappearing in that area.

Be weird if you sail there and the next moment you pop up in another world... :o

You're only giving the Bermuda Triangle one pyramid? Heck, you're a piker. Why stop with just one? There are 'news' stories kicking around the internet about the whole lost city of Atlantis having been found there, including huge glass pyramids and a glass Sphinx.:D

I cannot remember EVERYTHING I hear or read ok.

There is a possibility those cities disappeared due to the previous passing of Nibiru, currently overdue from it's 3600 year cycle, which will see it pass between the sun and earth. It is a vicious planet which drags a lot of debris with it that it collects in it's path of destruction and some of those will probably land on our planet.

Predictions also suggest that Nibiru can tilt earth 90 degrees which will have the magma break loose from earth's core, earth quakes etc, all in a relative small time, which could create massive waves from the ocean, some areas sink and others emerge.

That is why one have to have a boat.

Oh yeah ! I just remember, there was another boat found in a river that sunk around 1900 in the US. The significance of this was that it had some canned food aboard which was in can-fruit bottles. They had this tested and though the color was off, the food was edible even though the food was 102 (or thereabouts) years old.
