This has been sitting in my basement for many years- unusable due to the warp in it- I built a weakback instead of a strong back! Cant wait to try again!

It did look pretty warped. I enjoy the weakback humor. The key to a strongback is width of the timbers or if you can bolt them to the floor.
 
Looks like you got some useful space back.... don't worry, I'm sure something else will fill that space:)
 
already bringing in the other boats !
