Barge with Spud

Stability is to be analysed for
1.Free floating and
2.While the spud is down.
Do you use two spud and what is the position of the spud?

Small spud barges?

I've only seen spud barges with 4 spuds. Are the 2 and 3 spud versions significantly small or something?
