we over-built? this Pilot Cutter 32 ft LOD hull in routered strip planking to 2 1/2". Douglas fir under LWL; and White Spruce topsides; barbed bronze nails fastened ; glued in West System epoxy + three layersx3mm mahogany veneer.

Pilot Cutter epoxy strip planking and cold molded; was built in Institutul de Ape Bucharest Romania 1999; for American Randy willard.Rudder laminated. Spars were laminated in white spruce.No engine was installed.fastenings siliconic bronze.Bulwarks cold molded mahogany.

the deck and cockpit are sandwich teak/epoxy/pvc foam; cockpit backrest in laminated mahogany. the glass sheating method proved quite labor&materials intensive.

keel and stems are oak laminated bottom hull 3 layers biaxial fiberglass set in epoxy reinforced by laminated massive longitudinal stringers. floors laminated double direction
