I am working on a high speed student project for a 12m speedboat derived from the automotive market. I was benchmarking the XSR48 due to it's hull characteristics, it's got a great top speed and is fairly stable operating at high speeds. Does anyone have any information on the hull other than shown in the image? It's now become a military vessel making it hard to find any technical information on the platform.

    Thanks

the hull is designed by FB design in Italy. www.fbdesign.it

Buzzi has just recently published a book where he apprently discusses his ideas about designing such boats. Price is 80 Euros!! You will find it on the website.

What makes you think that the boat's design is based on an auto? There may be some styling similarities though.
