I'm not going to take this one. Too easy for me, having been there several times. Anyhow I think we've already visited the place within this thread.
    Cheers.

At a wild guess, somewhere in the eastern end of the Mediterranean? "the walkway implies keenness for tourist traffic is above "historical considerations"... lovely image Raggi... Looks like you have found your "bit of paradise"

I'm afraid Guillermo is right, as usual, and it's probably easier for him than for the rest of us. I's not Spain.

It's in Europe, in the EU even.
And the water is atlantic, or the water may be from a river also, but it's a city on the atlantic coast. And it's not Vigo :)

You got the place right my mate - it is actually the picturesque little historic town where gold was originally found in South Africa. I did made it a bit easy by leaving Mpumalanga (place where sun rises) on the photo properties - well done checking that clue out.

As for the person - the guy with his back to the camera is not part of the riddle - the handsome fellow with the glasses yes. Mas, you are actually very close in your assumption of who it may be;)

Actually it was the cafe - I did not see the "Mpumalanga" clue, I was thinking Australia and accidentally clicked a ZA site & felt the scenery looked a possibility... last try - relative? son/brother in law - as I tried son - or brother (kith or kin?)

You drink it on launching, and my blessings on your boat... May the Gods of the sea look after you, and that "riveting poster" see the light - what a laugh... I mentioned Manie first up so who else in in Saffa? JCD, Deepsix or strandedmariner or Jim (jims boat)??? (last edit/retry)
