Anyone know who has end grain balsa to re core a sole? I'm in far south Florida - hope there's someone close by that stocks the stuff.

Thanks. To do a flat floor, should I use the kind that is cut into blocks with a cloth backing? I forgot what they call that.

I buy a lot of my stuff from Merritt Marine. Its main warehouse is down in Ft. Lauderdale.

You seem to be describing Kligacell (not the right spelling) that is used for curved surfaces. There are a few different sandwich materials that will work better. I am a touchy feely guy and I go to Merritt or Seafarer and see what I'm getting. You should also. They will explain the qualities of the different materials. It's worth a drive up north.
