what size motors would you recommend for this boat?

    Good day

    What size motors would you guys reccomend i have two 30hp mercury will that work. The boat is only used for recriational fishing about 5-10nm out

    60HP won't make it a speed demon, but it will be OK. If you are fishing close by, the extra 15 minutes each way won't be much of a problem.

    Is that 2x90 on it ? 2x30 seems low.

    My guess is about 17', 2x90 seems ridiculous.

    Yeah, I can roughly estimate the length, but the weight is key to get a reasonable gauge. It doesn't appear to have a lot of deadrise, so . . .

    The icebox is nearly as big as the boat. There must still be fish around ! Maybe why the extra hp is installed, in anticipation of a big catch.
