Funny you should mention that Frosty, but about 2 months ago the insurance company put a new roof on my workshop after the neighbours tree fell on it.

There is no clutter under my cutting bench now, it's all burnt away.

Well nothing as exciting as trying to burn my workshop down, although I have tried. I hung the transom on the strongback and will be gluing in into place this afternoon.

Nice! I'm still fabbing that tailgate up. It takes me forever to settle on the design of something new.

Got my wood but developing the boat further forced me to bump it to 16 feet to fit what I wanted into the cabin the way I wanted it to. I should still be able to get it out of what I bought...I bought extra for fudge factor. Now comes the long winter of doing up smaller parts in the warmth of the basement.

Cool, Lewis. Looks like it should be called "Sabotage"

Actually it is called Saphire...one of a few of different lengths with other gem names. This is the smallest and I am building it to work out any kinks or quirks I might have overlooked.

Among other things; Installed a Pioneer DEH-4300UB to missus' car (which I'm driving mostly :p).

I am spending my weekends trying to make my place, maintenance free. This is so I can spend more time on my boat. Saturday was spent shovelling sand into a skip.

Today took the Grand kids to the beach, bought a new clothes dryer, went to the hardware store for some timber to attach it to the side of the shed.

Painted the timber to suit the colour of the shed. Swept the leaves up from high winds overnight chucked some steak on the barbie, cut up some salad and had dinner.

Now have to get USB port to work on a programmer that is giving me problems.

I want to go back to work tomorrow and have a rest.

We've been fabricating cleats out of pipe, making steel porthole frames and grinding welds on pipe railings (because I made a horrible botch-up job on the first pass - time to borrow a MIG!)

Next weekend, it's more of the same with volunteers, we're working hard to launch in January: http://members.internationalrescuegroup.org/events/oct22-23

I'm knot sure, but I think I get the thrust of what you're saying there...........

Mine was not so happy, I was helping a friend with his 6BT, we were thinking blown head gasket.

Had to fit the thruster to get it lined up properly.
