Puttered around on the Scow...filled some stuff that needed filling, sealed some stuff that needed sealing, Laminated one of the spars up.

Puttered around on TadPole...Bent some more wood for the wales...this time it worked. Fitted said wood to the boat temporarily.

Took the dog for a walk...it was too nice a day not to. I'm gonna pay for staying up so late today tonight at work... but I couldn't let the sun and clean air be wasted on too much sleep. I have 5 weeks left to get things done enough to splash the boats at Pepin (Midwest Messabout 1st weekend of June) but I have a few days of repair/refit until Rend lake Messabout (Michalak's on the second weekend). Ordered some supplies from Duckworks...cleats, oar locks and mounts, pulleys and fairleads. Ordered some deck plates but forgot about that big honkin piece of wood that runs under the deck along the centerline and got them too big. I'll have to order some more after work. I'll save those for something else.

Question or rather opinions...everything inside the front compartment is primed, painted and sealed. Should I epoxy the deck on or just use a caulking glue/sealant and have the possibility of removing the deck in the future? There would be about 20 wood screws holding the deck down to go with any goo.

Put on the anti-fouling and did some more buffing.

Probably going to sandblast the trailer and repaint it once the boat's in the water. If the weather cooperates we'll fuel it up and drop it in the drink tomorrow for a ride.

Not so much what I did (I got a case of the shingles (not roofing material either) but the Admiral got hoppin' on our zip-in window replacement. This is what we started with....

Crack, crazed and yes that is Duct Tape.

We started to make our own new ones a while back and now that we want to sell the boat we had to kick production into high gear. I think she did perdy good! If you look close they're definitely not professional but they turned out good. IMHO. :D

Thnx Richard. Goes into the shop tomorrow to get the wiring straightened out. Then we'll toss it in the water and hope someone buys it. We pick up the CnC cut kit for our trawler project in 2 weeks so something's gotta go!

Lori and I made the trip to Boston to pick up the kit for the boat this weekend. 1500 kms round trip. We went down in her Puddle Jumper and rented a U-Haul to bring the wood back. Approx. 4000 lbs of it. Next step is the bow shed, I promise.

We also got a complete set of plans (now I can build two boats!), rudder, king post, 3" exhaust tube and the stern tube. I think we made out like bandits!
