    buddy of mine's truck died
he said I could have it if I could just get it off the property
so I went to take a look at it
    its not dead
some jack *** overfilled the transmission with fluid when he took it in to get some antifreeze
    basic sabotage
thing had rotted fuel lines and old diesel in it as well so it ran like crap once I got it going
I told him to buy some insurance and we can just share the truck
    its a ford
( that I really did find on road dead )
so I dont really want it anyway and besides
he was just frustrated and thought the trany had given up on him
which exactly what the guys who sabotaged it wanted him to think

although those fuel lines could not possibly have just started leaking since he parked it maybe 6 months ago
that thing was just waiting to go up in flames

If you are self employed then the next weekend is about to start - If on a salery - "Life is one big long weekend" may apply, especially if you won a lottery...

Ok so that was/took 15 minutes, what next?

Hanging by a thread? he seems to have forgot his fishing line? - - Now that would have made a better photograph - with the "pilot hauling in a big fish as his plane was being hauled in/up" :D:D:D:D

Well after a lot of time, effort & money we've been out for our first cruise in the IROC. A bunch of kids yelled at us as we were leaving our crescent; "Hey Grandpa! Let her go!". So I obliged!

A few minor things to do before the safety check but otherwise we're pretty much done with this project and onto the next (building a boat) after a few HoneyDo's. :D

It's a very rare occasion when I let someone take my picture. Usually I'm the one behind the camera. This was one of those special occasions I guess.

Yes I was grinning so hard I thought my face was going to crack!

I took a week away to veer off the next loomong heart attack. The beach at the tugela mouth was dirty, rubbish gets dumped next to the river mouth and philamons, dogs and monkeys distributed the rubbish further over the area, sappi dumps their rubbish into the tugela and it reeks of it. There was no wind, (first time ever I saw that), the fish was gone, a whale died and the whole beach was full of blubber pieces getting hooked on the fishing lines. A huge rotten piece floated up and down the beach, the stench...

A guy got stabbed by philamon robbers while fishing, someone else's car windows got smashed and he was relieved of what ever they could get.

The camping area we slept in (we had a house) has security fencing around it and you get in and out of the jail with a tag without collecting R200. The whole place swarms with the usual plague of philamons following the people around to see what they can thief when you let your guard down. All in all it was so bad that some of our friends left early.

The road down there had a gazillion speed traps on them and we got flashed a couple of times despite keeping well below the speed limit. Second on that was the toll gates. I can't remember which is more expensive, the fuel or the toll gates.

It seems since samsa 'took control' of launching sites they made a 'law' that no one may launch anyhere else than from a launch site. We were refused to launch from any one of them. One can see why the boating industry in SA is going for a ball of crap.

So as you can clearly see whe had a **** and expensive holly f day in ****** up souf africa. It would have been cheaper and more enjoyable for me to have visited Mas and help him with his boat, wash his clothes, make him food and served him drinks all day long.

Pretty soon it is going to be less expensive to go holiday in a foreign country.

I think I mentioned it before, I abso lutely hate stupid people :(

Fanie, the offer still stands :D:D:D:D, I will provide the food (expensive as it is) and other perks to help complete my boat - - - and then you can build your own, in the shed where mine was...

KnottyBuoyz, nice toy where are the skid-marks from the "show-off burnout to the 'grand-children'???? :D:D:D:D

*hehehe* I'll have to see if they survived the rain we've had for the last couple of days and take a pic. Standby.....

Come to Canada for your next holiday Fanie. We'll put you up and you can help with my boat. No whales, robbers or garbage. When it's summer here it's winter there so it might work out for you.

Seems the best "trick" in revenue raising is to have a permanent blitz on minor traffic offences and up the $ fines (claiming increased road trauma is the fault of speeding).... Got another ticket.... :p:p:p:p 71 in a 60kmh zone 150m before an 80 zone WTF????

Need some drivers who have "clean licences" as I am almost out of points...
