watertight door iwo engine room BHD

Hi Guys,

Any body knows or experience the rules for door iwo engine room BHD. As I know Doors situated in that area is to be made of steel and fire resistance is to be same as the BHD where it is situated but there is last sentence say that " the door is to be not need insulated.

As I know BHD which separate the engine room is to be A60 class division.

the question is the door is to be insulated with A60 or not?

yes you have to provide.A-60 sliding doors are available in market.also a-60 depends on which compartment is nearby as per SOLAS.
