Hoyt and Daniel, the more we go on about this clown, the more he gets to see himself in print. Lets let him wither on the vine, as he should.

I think it is valuable to understand the signs and triggers that someone is going to be mean or nasty, but I would not recommend turning the tables on them. This results in stooping to their level, and that is what they want.

Over the years NZ has produced many innovative designers, scientists and boat builders, we nearly had the Olde Mug back again this year.

This fellow myark unfortunately is not one of my countries brightest moments. He's been flogging a concept that's been in use a lot longer in NZ the he has, and he doesn't seem to understand when self promotion goes from interest to silly.

I just painted a target on my back but what the heck,

    Hi Titirangi
I am sorry you feel that way which the concept of the Myark folding barge was in proto type back then and only one of my many boat inventions including hand tool inventions you seem not be aware of.
I also built many commercial water craft for happy NZ customers including hiring Myark folding and none folding trailer barges to the film industry and marine commercial etc.
The pictures shown below promoting a couple of Myark folding barges outside the Americas cup village you are most likely aware of, also I hired one of my smaller barges that I split in two for the confetti guns as shown when the cup was handed over to Peter Blake who was happy with the end result.
Just after the Americas cup self-promotion the King of Tonga visited me at my home also picture below is the King and his body guards at the Auckland jetty when I demonstrated the Myark 10. Folding trailer barge.
The King gave me an open check but that’s another story that you know nothing about.
You seemed to be misinformed about my business affairs so I will post pictures of some of my customer’s custom design water craft I manufactured that have nothing to do with Myark folding trailer barges to show you are out of touch.
    All the best to you

these posts are looking a lot like spam. spammers who's posts are unrelated to the topic should be be banned from this form.

It is extremely rude and inconsiderate of the terms of this forum to continue to advertise for free in unrelated threads.

    Please stop!

    Hi Titirangi
To keep you up date of what I was doing in New Zealand while custom boat building is pictured a larger custom designed Myark trailer barge I sold to Mike Hodson for his Pah Farm site on Kawau Island that hosts the 3000-odd angler’s competition. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10112742
It has plug in wheels so it can be easily being brought ashore; I designed and manufactured a custom glass bottom so one could see underwater.
It is fully marine surveyed with built in petrol tanks for the twin four strokes 75hp out boards.
It was a rushed project that I built in 6 weeks with no sleep on the last days because of the tight time schedule, also pictures shows its first ever test run which was the actual day on its way to the Furuno fishing tournament with a heavy load that’s shows Mike Hodson at the stair way giving the thumbs up.
I do not build boats anymore and left NZ 16 years ago to focus on my new custom design water craft and hand tool inventions in China with my home Thailand.
Some more pictures of just a few of the other custom built Myark trailer barges I made for the marine farming in NZ to give this thread ideas for TV boat design.

I was told by a friend that some fish are so dumb that any bait will get a bite, he was right.

As this thread relates to "TV" "Opportunity", self promotion is a big part of the game, most people with experience in media accept that, the "Quiet Acheivers"only seem to feature rarely.
If Myark likes to put his past works out there that's in the spirit of the thread, I quite like the concepts, don't know if they're completely original but what inventions are but usually an evolution, the commercialisation is an important aspect. I'd love one of those smaller wheeled outboard barges.
    Regards from Jeff.

The myark barge is a really finetuned solution for one need that's horribly over-marketed in a blunt force approach, IMHO. The myark barge is for a buyer who wants to take his jeep or RV with him from one ramp or road that touches the water to another. To accomplish it the myark sacrifices a full cabin, nice head, full accommodations and comfortable well appointed cockpit, deeper hull, speed, etc.

PAR, with respect that is your view, however Myark has been recently posting on three threads, this, amphibians & steel schooners where he's represented relevant experience & plenty of photos etc which is great, there's been some repetition but so what, here we're down the bottom end of the forum for all the other stuff, if he's trying to drive some hits towards current activities I haven't found myself there.
    All the best from Jeff

I understand your concerns Jeff and I have seen his reasonable contributions on other threads, but his repeated self promotion sinks of spam. He's flooded and taken over this thread with self exsposul and back patting. We all have skills, most of us have business interests, but we don't take over threads and shove our products or services down each others throats either. This is spam and a self inflated attempt to avoid advertising costs.

I don't mind a personal plug or even a blatant attempt to garner some business with a big hint in a thread, that is eventually taken to another site or private communications, but this is way over the top and displays quite a narcissistic approach, which I find distasteful and inappropriate, on a site he doesn't own or has paid to advertise on. I guess it's a level of respect. You don't see any of the other professionals here, peddling their goods or services, which I'll conclude is also out of respect. Maybe I'm way off base. If so, I currently have 78 designs in the drawers, should I post images of each, in every thread I desire (maybe just half to save band width?). Now, I do post images to make a point, but I've never found the need to flood any thread with them, not even the ones about my work. You'll find this is the case with every professional that contributes here. Should we accept less from this poster?

You advertise trying to sell yourself every time you target the many post each day on boat design that has your web site attached PAR Plans
PAR Blog - fresh updates http://paryachts.blogspot.com.au/ which the reality is you are the pot calling the kettle black, however in my case occasionally I post with amphibious vehicles which is my passion and what spare time I am lucky to have to post, you post daily with your web site attached, even has picture of you cuddling your doggy.
There is nothing in it for me except showing of my past ideas from 16 to 25 years ago, I have a passion for inventing marine tools, amphibians and custom boat design, that’s what this thread is about “custom boat design” and can give many examples on this subject as well as been involved in the movie industry, TV, including documentary’s and will explain more in this thread of the pros and cons that itself is getting free marketing for their TV production business that I have notice some statements that are not correct and misleading.
You are stalking me with your nasty troll tactics so please put me on your ignore list and do not bother me again.
    Peace and Love to you.
