I am new to boat building, but I would really like to build a smaller (15-17 ft) tunnel hull boat. Like I said Im new to this and I have heard that tunnel hulls are more difficult for beginners. From what I gather they can break in half if they arent built strong enough. My questions are: to make it strong enough how many layers of fiberglass should I use? Should I use some sort of supports?
