I can imagine it would be much better, albeit there would be a loss if interior space. The topper helps streamline it though and cuts the turbulence/wind resistance at the front of the trailer.

    Have you seen this T-100?

I went to the "Roar on the River" Sunday, saw three classes race - it was cool.

I kept thinking aerodynamics, but the leaders all had the same tone to the engine if not the same exact body styles.

First time I have seen it. Where I go those spoilers would be soon ripped off. I like the ground clearance I get, especially during the monsoon season when the streets are flooded.

Maybe a full belly pan sealed up water tight so that you can float is your answer then.:D

Most of the aerodynamic benefits are at the rear, not the front anyway.

I do just fine with about 7-inches of clearance under my front chin spoiler, Michigan snow and all.

The foil tape is part of a temporary repair on my own truck. I went for high down-force, not low drag.

It looks great so far. Do you have a photo of the finished project?

Thats pretty much as it is now, although it got a couple of coats of clear epoxy on the outside on Sunday & is loaded on it's trailer in our front yard. Monday 9.00 am was cut off for further work for marking..... likes to cut things fine! so the teardrop pod itself has been described as a "Base Structural Unit",, the trailer & guards are neatly detailed & presented & the "self loading apparatus" fitted & worked well.. this was apparently important as the main point of difference from other available teardrops, the loading/unloading simply uses the action of the jockey wheel, drop the front & fit legs to back, lift the front & fit legs to front, level out & remove trailer.
