I'm looking for information on large sunroofs - both solid and canvas (such as those used in large hard-top sportscruisers). Also on full canvas canopies.
What I really need is some detailed construction info...
    Anyone got any leads?

no not awnings - opening roofs like these and the canopies that go to enclose their cockpits

    Construction Techiques

On a Bolger list, someone suggested building the bemini for a saling vessel based on a modified version of Bolger's Tortois or Supperbrick. I'm currently looking into the design myself. These are hard bemini's that can be removed and used for a dinghy. The construction techniques are much the same for boat construction. A simple version would be 1/4" plywood sheathed in glass cloth and epoxy.
