Hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I just had a new velvet drive put in my 1989 cruiser attached to crusader v-8 engine and I shifted into drive when rpms were too high. All my fluid leaked out after this mishap. What would be the most likely places to check for damage. Thanks for any help anyone might be able to offer.

That shouldn't happen. The clutches or pressure plates may get damaged but not the hydraulics. A cracked housing could be what caused it, but is highly unlikely.

Check the cooler lines at both the tower and the trans.
