strip planking vs aging

    I use Kiri or better: Paulownia tomentosa since 32 years. And you?

    And yes, as a core material it is by far strong enough. It is in fact the perfect core material.

    Thousands of lobster boats have been built with white pine. That is a soft wood and seems to last enough under hard use.
