Server Upgrade January 8th - 9th, 2008 (complete)

    A small server upgrade is planned for tonight, January 8, 2008 starting at 10:30 p.m. EST and proceeding into the morning of January 9th. This upgrade requires an IP change from 67.19.227.229 to 70.86.111.245 as the new server is located in a different datacenter building from the previous.

    Downtime is expected to be ~1 hour, but propagation may cause some intermittent issues and slowness until all the cached dns entries expire and everyone is hitting the new server.

    New forum attachments will be disabled during the upgrade window until you hit the new server.

    I apologize for the unexpected 3-1/2 hour time this took to complete due to overwhelming the IO of the old server the first pass.

    The forums are now running on the new server.
