    You can make the area under a storage space with a 6" round deckplate.

    Going to be tricky getting in through the access port to fillet and tape in the "lid" (tread).

    TC has a lot of rules for vessels used as a water taxi. Stability tests. Maximum watertight compartment sizes. I don't believe they care if you use fir or pine for strip planking.

    That should be correct. But it's always some pissant bureaucrat clerk who actually stamps a form, or puts it in a drawer and never again pulls it out.

    It's not wood, it's composite. Epoxy-glass to be precise.

    Why didn't you go with a flat transom base versus the inverted V in the hull/transom?

    Stair construction?
    Motor installation and sea-trialing?

    I'll be installing the stair stringers, and interior glassing in general. Since my last update I put in a bunch more wooden fillets, and a glassed a few areas, but it does look like anything much in pictures.

    Today. Glassed the hull on the inside of the tunnel, 2 layers. As I expected, doing the hull under me in those steep corners, between the ram and bulkhead #1 was very difficult. Between #1, and #2 wasn't 20210403_195414.jpg 20210403_195404.jpg 20210403_195341.jpg 20210403_195328.jpg 20210403_195319.jpg 20210403_195300.jpg too bad. I could kneel aft of that, and reach over the bulkhead.

    Eventually.
    That includes end grain, tricky with the small radius though...
