    DogCavalry I aim to misbehave.

500 liters, or so. I'd like it inder the floor, but that is significant free surface effect

Depends on the shape of it, typically long and narrow, and the centre of mass will move aft as it empties, which is not undesirable. Free surface effect nothing to worry about, baffles to stop sloshing back and forth.

    I'm saying 12" at the 9, 0" at the transom, 21'. 1/21=0.047619 Tan-1 is 2.7 deg, calling it 3 degrees

Bluebell found it. I'm as happy with it as you are.

Here's another. This is one of Marcus Lee's boats.

Note the shape of the wake in the still image. It doesn't start to spread until more than a length after the boat has passed.

I also see the need for a sneeze guard or enclosed house.

    Yup.
Markus was experimenting with nontripping chines. This boat's are very narrow forward, but 0° to the horizon, and grow wider and twist upwards as they go aft. They do the job: the boat rolls nicely in a turn, and doesn't trip. But it blows air out sideways sometimes, just at the keel/water point of contact.

So opinion time. Between my own efforts, and you fine gentlemen, there's getting to be some Sea Sled Lore and Data. I'm going to start a thread for that, and collect what I can there. Where does it go? Boat design? Hydrodynamics? Powerboats?

I'd say Boat Design: it's a discussion of the various features and merits and renditions of a particular design.

    BlueBell "Whatever..."

Is that what you're going to call it: "Sea Sled Lore and Data"?
