What's your I-beam spacing going to be?

    3'3"

Does that seem too great? Ad Hoc?

⅜plywood on a 9' span. 14oz biax upper and lower surfaces.

    16", 24", 36", 48"?

3'3" equals 39" centre to center

Oh jeez, what was I thinking.
    I think I'm tired.
Next I'll be asking for a diagram.

    39", huh.

I designed my roof for potential snowload and walking woth 6mm okume and 12mm corecell and 1700 glass on top. It will hold and distribute a 100 pound point load.

If you plan to walk up there; that span is too great. To walk, my experience suggests halving to 19.5" or less. It simply is not that strong.

Okay. Those Ibeams are easy peasy, as the young folks say.

Are you able to add them later if needed?
Your ply orientation is not to your advantage.

Yes. I can retrofit any number of them.

To 'break up' the panel area, would it be easier to add some longitudinal stiffeners between the transverse 'I' beams, rather than add additional 'I' beams, or not really?

That is also quite doable. Not particularly difficult at all.

With a layer of biax on each side, it's not the wood plies that are farthest from the center of the panel aymore. I should make up a test piece from a scrap. Because it might still show significantly greater stiffness in one orientation than the other

My beams are 2.5"x1/2"x3 lam on 11.75" centers. Fyi for 100# test.

I added two full height walls to prevent buckling under snow loads.
