Did you talk with the surveyor yet?
I think he's your best asset while you're still at the yard.

 

I can't reach him for some reason. I check for him every time I'm there, and he's not returning my calls. Maybe he's on vacation?

Did you search out consoles on boats like yours online?

I looked around the yard. There doesn't seem to be much standardization.

With the spring, my surveyor is absolutely swamped with work. No time to talk.

 

Did you gain any insight into size, proportion, layout, angles, volume, spacing, ratios... nothing?
No standardisation, huh.
I guess every boat and everybody's different!

THAT's a shame. A huge loss. Tragic even...

 

I'll need to build tread grids over these, but they'll make sealed buoyancy chambers.
