I'm looking for a software application for sail design. The equivalent of Free!ship for sails.

    Is there anything available?

You might want to try Sailcut. Very simple and easy to use software. The panel developments fit quite well from my experience.

    Hope this helps.

No, it's just about modeling the geometry (outer contour and profile shape, vertical depth distribution, twist etc.) and create and print or export the developments from it. It doesn't include any CFD or the like.
