Running Hot...oil that is, good or bad?

    That product has been around a looong time...not sure it is still that viable considering new additives??

    These folks use their coolant and special higher thermostats to get better fuel use in HD trucks.

    Engines are heat pumps , and the higher operating temperature gives higher efficiency.


    One danger to high coolant temp operation could be the danger of scalding increases for folks that use a heat exchanger to heat domestic Fresh water.

    what we really need is adiabatic diesels
    no cooling system
    probaly make them 50% more efficient

    Well when they get electronic valves no need for oil up top at all. 2 stroke it or 4 or 8 if you want. Bosch are making head way in this. Im very exited.

    Over lap, timing, duration, valve lift --all controllable.

    No Hp used in driving a cam, no lifters, no chain or belt. Oh I cant wait

    Until it stops working Frosty, then it's valves for breakfast lunch and dinner.

    Renault made one and got some patents for F1 but it was banned before it was used
    I agree it will be a major breakthrough in engines
