Totally coincidental, someone talking on the radio said something about rogues and waving goodbye.... Just as I was looking at who had answered what thread in the dungeon.... A spiritual message to post? Thank you for your tolerance and understanding, I hope this mini-diversion gave a lightness to your mood :D:D:D:D

I am waving, but not necessarily goodbye, just 'till we meet again" - don't have a French keyboard so can't do the French words which are more apt.....

\According to Lyoyds the are only 4 places on earth where rogue waves occur
What people call rogue waves are really not, because the sequence of waves can be measured my frequency and pattern and are well documented
These 4 places are in the high lats of the Southern Ocean, The Aguelles current off S.A (sp) the North Atlantic, forgot the other

    Definition of Heavy Weather(dashews words)

Heavy weather is very much a relative term. What might be considered a severe storm by someone just starting out is often just an uncomfortable gale, to be endured for a day or so, to a more experienced cruiser. Our definition of heavy weather, what we've aimed this design towards, consists of the truly dangerous storms of the higher latitudes.

Now look a t the boat he built to take this on, notice how even a breaking 5 m sea would try lift of the roof and smash windows!
A very large German ship was hit by a rogue wave 100 feet high in the Southern ocean, it knocked out the bridge windows and the engines stopped , she lay without power the captain said that if another had hit they would have capsized, They managed to start the mains and recovered
here often when a 14 foot tinny goes over, the people on board, say they were hit by a rogue wave, which means they were out in weather too big for the boat

has anyone looked at the "triangular" waves?,, ones like in the dragons and bermuda triangle,,,,,or i guess they call it a "V" wave,,,i saw it on tv the other day,,they were making it sound like it only happens in them 2 places,,,,,,,i guess they've never seen the waters in maine,,because we always had em there.
