Ari, didn´t imagine you were a football fan! Glad to know that:)

Guillermo, it is also a surprise, I thought you were too serious to care about it:p
As usual, you have lots of certainties:rolleyes:

I have not included Spain because at the time I had posted it, Spain was not included in the countries already in the 1/8 final.

Well, know the ones already in the ¼ final are Germany, England, Portugal and Argentina.

Good luck to the ones that are still fighting for it, with a special wish to Australia. It would really be good to football if a team of that part of the world managed to make it;)

Another shity referee. A direct red card for an Italian player over a banal fault and an inexistent penalty deciding the game. What a shame! Referees are spoiling the world cup:mad:

 :( :( :(

these days the there seems to be three teams on the field,
a game dominated by the action and errors of referees.
the red card on italy at the begining shaped the game then the penelty at the end against australia finished it. Disgusting.
two points to the refs and one to italy:p :p
if only Harry was in there..

[edit- that was a gutting end.]

    video refs?

Maybe the ref should have the option to consult a panel of three video refs.
It wouldn't have to be used all the time even, just for big controversial things.
It might meen that more players try to stand up and play, instead of over-act fouls.
There must be a better way to do this.
Sometimes tradition aint all that great.

we have video referees in rugby and cricket here guys and the system does work well
one would assume they have the worlds best ref's in the comp, its just not working
some might think its overkill in cricket, where 2 teams can play for 5 full days in a row and still have a draw..lol

over all i think we did well, considering we are new boys to the world stage of soccer..
with the bad red, italy went into defence and we just couldnt get past them
best of luck to italy and all in the finals..
    cheers jack

Yes, big controvesy over that in Europe, also about more referees in a game.
Truth is that it is a big field and the referee is almost far away when he has to decide if it is penalty or not. There is talk about 2 and even three referees in a game.

    Guillermo,

After what you have posted about me and my vehicle, it is quite unpolite to come back here and, worse, talk about soccer.
How many "bad reputation" points should I give you for that? You can say it, because I won't make a mistake.
If what I said above is not enough to make you think about your disrespectfull behaviour sending you "back to school would work?"

    Vega,

I have a question for you and for all those that appretiated the picture you posted here: would you prefer the mother of your children (or your sisters or your own mothers or your aunts or your daughters or any other women that you respect or like) behaving in public like the Turkish women - without sensual exaltation - or like the Brazilians women - in a sensual way?
Pimenta nos olhos dos outros é refresco.

Hot pepper in others eyes is cool.

To all those interested in soccer:

I'm not! Please stop distorting this thread.
This thread is intended to debate the aquatic vehicle and to encourage its production, so any technical matter about its construction, its dynamic behaviours, the best way to produce it... please post here.
I'm developing other models with more daring designs and when I finish them, I'll inform here.
I'm at disposal for any doubts, questions or suggestions concerning the vehicle.

    Poida,

    Thanks!

Vapera, you have a very bad memory, or there is something wrong with you.
The thread is not being distorted.

You have declared that you had “had a great idea” and declared this thread as the “unofficial forum of the sports”….and obviously the sport in focus at this moment is football and the world cup.

It’s not only the bad memory, you also lack any sense of humor and that is even worse.
Answering your question, I have a sexy family and I am a sexy guy. Nothing wrong with it, and I am proud of it:D

It seems that you were completely incapable of understanding the humor of that picture. Of course it was an exaggeration, but the meaning is that we (football fans) like a lot Brazilian supporters, not only because they are sexy, but because they like to party and take their playfulness and joy everywhere, sharing it with everybody.

They are the best, they party with all other countries’ fans and they are never violent. Very nice guys, the Brazilian.

What that picture tells is that we love Brazilian fans even more than Brazilian football and everybody loves Brazilian football. This is a huge compliment.

Of course, also an exaggeration, the Turkish fans don’t look like a good company to party with, they don’t look like they are enjoying the game…and the world cup should be a celebration, a big international party.

Probably you didn’t understand that because you are a very strange Brazilian, one that doesn’t like his country, its laid back and sexy culture one that even wishes defeat for his own national team:

You should be ashamed of yourself; certainly your countrymen are ashamed of you.

I am out of this thread:rolleyes:

Hi Vapera, I like you am not a big soccer fan, so I have not made any recent postings to this thread. But I have been following it, and it has been entertaining. Why spit the dummy! It is a huge event and your team is the current favourite. Soon the world cup will be over and we can get back to your "thing". Especially if you consider some of the modifications suggested prior to the announcement you made, "I declare open the unofficial forum for the sports created by the "thing". :)

    Hi, Frosh
I didn't want to offend anyone. What I meant to say is that the image posted by Vega only stimulates a stereotyped concept of a grotesque Brazil that is distorted, reaffirming the idea of lascivious, sensual and easy Brazilian women. This doesn't help building the country where I live, this idea only creates a generation of eroticized children at the age of 6! Then everybody says Brazil is a place with huge amount of prostituded children. But how couldn't it be? Put together misery, social injustice, massive licentiousness, the idea of "best in soccer" and the exaltation of the "smart" Brazilian way to solve things being glamorized by all means (tvs, press, radion, etc.), a deleterious and eroticized tv, the thought that "God is Brazilian" and that Brazil is the country of the future...gathering all that, you have a place with no culture, high birth rate among early teenagers, this only thickens the line of small prostitutes, the European brothels, the sexual tourism, the pimps' pockets and who else more... Who is interested in all that? That's why I was so incisive about the picture.
Regarding my complain about the subject soccer, it's because this is a forum about boats, so sporadic comments on a different subject are substantial, it increases the basis in arguments about the topic, but transforming this thread in a thread about soccer, which I believe is an unconscious association of Brazilian to soccer, would be the same as to only talk about hopping marsupials on threads started by you... I agree the moment is for world cup, but the guys out there playing it are already settled, they're not my problem.
I'm probably strange, as posted by Vega, but at the moment my only intention is to arise a new generation of aquatic vehicles.

Hi Vapera, I can see your point of view about the sexual view that outsiders might have about many tragic aspects of Brazilian society. Guys see a picture of a girl with her **** hanging out, and we naturally assume that she wants to party and it is a very cool scene in Brazil. However readers to this forum are not generally philanthropists, nor social workers.
You will find it difficult to find a lot of sympathy for the underlying issues you mention, which to me seem to be more important to you than boat designs.
Maybe you should focus on emigrating first and trying to develop the "thing" later, as I doubt you will be able to make a lot of progress on the "thing" beyond the planning stage while you remain in Brazil.

    Hi, Frosh
Thanks for the advice, but my ideia is to launch a new concept of aquatic vehicle. I would like to see this concept popularized.
New design proposals can emerge in this thread. Someone reading it might want to produce the vehicle. All the social information I posted here had the intention to help any possible investor in the Brazilian market. My social interest eases marketing interpretation because all marketing interpretation is based on social rates.
I intend to add new designs and ideias for the vehicle on my page and to continue to divulge this concept here. This is my interest in this thread.
