reason for keel rise in fishing vessel

    Keel drag like other things, serves a variety of functions.

    All of the FRP commercial fishing vessels and expedition yachts we have built have grounding shoes.

    Most if not all steel fishing boats that I know of have extra thick plating on the bottom of the cvk serving the same purpose.
