Thanks Charlie. But Thats not the one I saw. Im fairly certain this vessel was brought into a Europe port, scandinavia I think. The Hog was a lot more pronounced then the Pasha.

I need to find those photos, they were really good.

    Thanks though Charlie.

Missy Lee, much as I'd like to give Pericles a few points the machine won't let me! Getting a bit tedious this system isn't it?

Pericles - your right, after checking it was the Amythest (of Yangste River fame), but her pennent number for most of her life was I believe U16. It only became an F (frigate) after we joined NATO (when it was first formed) just after the war (WWII). I was thinking more of the type 12 frigate of the same number (the name escapes me at the moment) most which were launched about the time of the scrapping of the Amythest etc.

So might the middle one be considered. I really like those low level over water shots of aircraft going really fast in profile looks really spectacular - got anymore?

Sorry Karch, still restricted to tokens :D ::::: ::::: ::::: for the last one -mas-

The B-1 over the lake looks as though it could be a photoshop, I can't vouch for it.

I saw a YouTube video of a B-1 in Afghanistan buzzing our troops for some kicks and applause. It either went supersonic or kicked in the afterburners at very low level as their was a loud boom.

They are not supposed to be able to go supersonic at tree top level, at least that is what they tell us.;)

This caption says "nearly" supersonic Hornet:

NOTE: edited to BOLD the "nearly" , which I guess is easy to miss.
