    First leg completed (proving grounds) with the 10.6 metre trimaran Dragon coming in first 2 mins short of the record set by Maddog racing on their M32 catamaran.

    Team Angry Beaver were first over the line on their Schock 40 monohull. Team Pear Shaped Racing on their custom 35' Chris Cochrane designed trimaran Dragon got the Steak Knives.
