If anyone is watching this show on here I'm hoping they can settle something. There's a lot of contention over whether or not one guy could pilot the yacht that the survivors are hiding out from the zombies on. Can anyone who has seen the show and has some knowledge comment? The one guy who owns the yacht seems to be doing everything from the bridge and it is a state of the art luxury yacht, but wouldn't you need someone in the engine room, etc...?

I do not know if I misunderstood the question.
Many boats of all kinds, work with what is called "unattended engine room". The boat must meet a number of requirements for that rating, but it is totally normal.
